Y la vi anoche en el unico teatro decente, en mi opinion que tiene Glasgow. Tenia que escoger entre un monton de pelis de Finlandia y Suecia, pero me quede sin dudarlo con la mas reciente realizacion de Shane Meadows, el mismo de Dead man shoes otra excelente peli inglesa, de esas que no tienen a ningun languido caballero ingles como Jeremy Irons. This is England es una pelicula que se desarrolla en los 80s en Inglaterra y que narra la historia de un grupo de skin heads…racism??? ohhh man it’s so funny!!! Y dramatica al mismo tiempo. Emociona ver a un nino tirar al mar el trapo bicolor que representa la englishness. Si se le atraviesa en su vida esta peli vaya y la ve, de golpe descubre otra de las caras de Inglaterra.

Yo como siempre editando las pelis que no son mias, le quitaria las secuencias largas de las imagenes de los soldados. En mi opinion de persona no inglesa ni britanica, me atrevo a decir que la secuencia con tantas imagenes de Margareth Thatcher resultan un tanto melodramatricas, si, si nos dimos cuenta que a Meadows no le gusto ni poquito la dama de hierro.

It’s really amazing the amount of people leaving their houses early on Friday morning just to go to town centre to buy rubish that they really don’t need!!! I was there buying nothing, saving money by doing my weekly window shopping routine! Walking my sore jaw, too much time on my hands. I have nothing else to do but change the “presentation” of my blog, apart from think what i am going to do with the rest of my life, which country will be my home, am i going to study? Uhmm suddenly wonder woman came to rescue me (to be honest I rather be tie up !!! Ohh dear Linda Carter brings to my memory those afternoons waiting just to see and hear that ridicolous music and all these people with perfect white teeth, but who cares if we all knew she was going to be spinning around to appear in her wonderful and revealing custome just to show us that really wonderful breast. I still don’t understan why wonder woman is not a lesbian icon. I really hope one of my thousand of lesbian readers could be kind enough to explain me why Wonder Woman is not a lesbian icon, well she isn’t here in the UK. Is she a lesbian icon in Colombia? Peru…oh no sorry my mistake a lesbian icon in Peru must be a transvesti… I only asking myself these questions because I have been told by a italian gay man that I don’t look like a lesbian. Since then I cannot stop think how i must look to be a lesbian.
